BUSY YEAR OF ANIMATION WORKSHOPS
I am really excited for another busy year of workshops, inspiring young people with creative skills and opportunities. In 2025 I led Lego Stopframe animation workshops across a number of venues in Wiltshire and Bristol, as well as with community charities and even a long term school project for the winter term!
In 2026 I have already led some fantastic animation workshops at St George's Bristol in April, and with Wiltshire charity Splash in February.
Tickets are already on sale for my Summer workshops at St George's Bristol on August 17 & 18 and can be BOOKED HERE.
The days are filled with learning creative and technical animation skills, through hands on activities, and the participants becoming the director of their own animation!
I will also be running different versions of the animation workshops this Summer holidays. After five years of running my very popular workshop at Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford-on-Avon, it will become a full day (9am-3pm) course, to allow some more in depth animation skills, editing and adding music and voice-overs to the completed films! Tickets not on sale yet - check back soon.
And there are plans for a three day animation project at The Old Town Hall in Trowbridge this Summer, to learn many more technical and professional skills, from composition and frame rates, to lighting and camera angles. We will also develop 2D hand drawn animations, which I am really excited to teach! Currently not on sale. Box office details will be announced here soon!
WEDDING SEASON HAS BEGUN
At the start of February, I had my first wedding of 2026, with a stunning wedding day at Widbrook Grange in Bradford-on-Avon. It's always amazing to be back at someone's big day and capturing those special moments for them to look back on. I've since captured a beautiful wedding at a new venue for me, at the Swan Hotel in Wells and am excited for a busy year ahead.
This weekend will be my first wedding video of the year and, weather permitting, will be a first outing for my drone!

After years of capturing beautiful weddings across Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset, it was incredible to be the other side of the camera, as Antonia and I got married at Stourhead! We had an amazing autumn wedding with our closest family.
Summer 2024 We are just over half way through Wedding Season for this year and I have been very fortunate to photograph some wonderful couples and capture some incredibly special memories for them. My first wedding of the year was back in February at one of my favourite local venues, Elmhay Park in Frome.
I have since discovered a couple of beautiful new venues, At Chalk near Rushall and Salisbury Guildhall, as well as returning to some of my absolute favourites; Widbrook Grange in Bradford on Avon, Wick Farm near Farleigh Hungerford, Bath Guildhall and the Old Milking Parlour in Henstridge.
It's incredible how many of the weddings I have photographed are from word of mouth recommendations, and I am really proud that, as I approach wedding number 400, around 75% of the weddings I have captured are from personal recommendations. It's lovely to see so many familiar faces and friends in the wedding party, or as guests at the weddings, and as a result they are so much more relaxed and happy in front of the camera.
Bookings are already starting to fill my diary for 2025 and 2026 and I have enjoyed getting to know these couples better in meetings and at engagement shoots, helping them to feel much more relaxed in front of the camera.

I have just finished a busy Summer holidays of teaching, with two sold out Lego animation workshops at Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford-on-Avon, and leading five animation workshops for Wiltshire charity Community First.
The workshops give the participants technical skills in stopframe animation and an opportunity for a fun and engaging day, but more importantly an opportunity to work as part of a team, compromise and collaborate, and to build new friendships. It's such a joy to be able to give the children the platform to achieve this and see the fun they have throughout the process.

Have you ever wanted to produce your own animated film? With professional film director Jamie McDine you will learn the skills of stop-frame animation, with lots of hands on activities, where you become the director – you will build your own LEGO scenes and even plan and produce your own animation!
Introducing a brand new wedding photography package for 2024. The midweek special package is for couples that are getting married during the week but would like some beautiful and professional wedding photos. The package is for 2.5 hours coverage, which will typically be arrivals, ceremony, couple shots and group shots.
Like all my photography packages, the happy couple get all of the photos in the highest quality and with full printing and sharing rights, so they can print their own albums, thank you cards, share on social media and much more!
Wedding season is in full swing!
2023 has been a fantastic year of capturing weddings. After all the disruptions caused by Covid and rearranged weddings over the past couple of years, it has been a joy to be photographing and filming such beautiful wedding days again. Anyone who has seen me at a wedding knows how much I love my job, so it feels even more special to be doing it again!
So far in 2023 I've been back to some of my favourite venues, like Wellington Barn near Calne, Leigh Park Hotel in Bradford-on-Avon, Court Farm in Standerwick and the beautiful Bath Abbey. I have also worked with my favourite vicar in Chippenham three times, photographing weddings at St Paul's Church!
I've discovered new venues, like the amazing Old Milking Parlour near Henstridge and the stunning St Audries Park on the Somerset coast.
Most of all, I have got to share the special day of some wonderful couples and captured really special memories for them to treasure forever. This job really is such a privilege and a joy and I am looking forward to all the weddings still to capture in 2023, and the engagement shoots of all the couples I will be photographing in 2024!

Following the success of Jamie's animation workshops at Trowbridge Town Hall there are plans to take them on the road around the town, now that the building has closed it's doors for two years. We are currently developing ideas for outreach events and collaborations.
